hi,

I need to print out some text just next to $site_name, or maybe below it.... I tried editing in page.tpl.php but no luck, it prints it in left column.

any thoughts?

you are on the right track, look for this line of code in page.tpl.php

print $site_html .'</a></h1>';

and edit it as you wish.

example:

print $site_html .' some text</a> or more text</h1>';
