Default behaviour expanded? why?

Hello.

I have dhtml for a menu in my sidebar with 5 items
Two of them have children items so they work with dhtml menu.
When I load the frontpage of my site, either the 1st or 2nd item are expanded by default...
I haven't set expanded in menu options or sth like that.

Why is that?

PS: These 2 parent menu items have path (if you double-click them) if this is relevant.
