To my knowledge, none of the newer aggregators have an upgrade path from the 4.6 Aggregator2. I believe there are a lot of sites running Ag2 and were there a newer aggregator module such as FeedParser that provided an upgrade option, that aggregator would be used by all those running Ag2. Would there be any consideration for this?

If a user, or group of users were happy to sponsor it then I would be willing to look at an upgrade path for Aggregato2 users.
