I detect a css problem with quote (q) in css line 35.

There is no problem with blockquote code.

Please check demo page in chrome browser:
http://www.drupalyag.com/touch/node/4

I suspect there is problem with your input format. Try Drupal default Full HTML input format. It should be something like this:

<blockquote>
Vivamus in ante vitae neque sodales convallis ac in magna. Vivamus ornare odio sed purus rutrum ac ultricies risus vestibulum. Ut sed erat libero, blandit varius nisl.
</blockquote>
