as my earlier finding, this prevents profile types to be reusable, even in the default registration form.

i have requirements as below.

1) 3 registration forms (3 different URLs) for 3 different roles.
2) profile type 1, appears in forms 1 and 2.
3) profile type 2, appears in forms 2 and 3.
4) profile type 3 appears in all forms.

my idea is to add an option to use any existing path, by select box (eg. "register", "register/path1", "register/path2", etc..). this is easily done. but if we do this, then we need to add a feature to rearrange the registration form.

im seeing a separate page to manage registration forms. it lists all available paths(registration forms). clicking a path will open the arrange page, displaying a list of profiles assigned to it. something like rearranging the fields.

I don't entirely understand this request. How are these 3 registration forms being generated?

It sounds like you want two things:
- Enable each profile type to be added to more than one path (e.g., profile type 2 is added to form 2 and 3)
- Enable two profile types to share the same path setting (e.g., profile type 2 appears in form 2, also assigned to profile type 1)

Is this right?

i also want to be able to arrange the content types. setting the weight of the types in different registration forms.

Alright, I think that I understand your request-- it seems like a pretty tall order. Would you be willing to submit a patch for at least part of this functionality?

There are a few jobs here:
-Adding AJAX to the path field so that you can add multiple values, without limit.
-Create new administrative page for Profile2 Regpath containing a draggable table of all Profile2 profile types.
-Changing get_profile_type_by_path() and related functions to handle and array of profiles
