Hi there,

I have installed Lightbox 2 in D7 and followed the instructions carefully. I have created my code and also set it to Full HTML.

Only local images are allowed.

The 'testbutton' image appears as it should. However, when I click on it, the message does appear but on a separate blank browser page and not with Lightbox2.

Can anyone suggest why Lightbox isn't working? I don't have a live version of the site online yet as am working on Dev Desktop.

Any help would be much appreciated. I have a client deadline so it would be great to hear back for someone at their earliest convenience.

Okay, that's weird that my code examples turned themselves into images. Mmmm. Basically, I followed the rel="lightbox" syntax to add lightbox to an image exactly. I was showing examples of my code above but they have somehow become images. Anyway, here it is again attached as a screen shot:

I am experiencing the same issue with 7.x-1.0-beta1 in drupal 7. I am using views with lightbox formatting. It will work fine, then the images will eventually(after a hour or so, or new photos have been added) start to open the images in a new blank browser window instead of the lightbox, although if I clear my cache it will start to work again.

I do not have this issue, or i am unable to reproduce it. Do you have a live website where it happens and i can see it?

I'm having a similar issue, but I've NEVER gotten lightbox2 to work. I have a site hosted at GoDaddy using Drupal 7.22. Here's my test page - http://www.gordiescall.org/christina. That image is using rel="lightbox"; I've also tried rel="lightframe".

I've installed the jQuery update, tried 1.5 and 1.8, and set the jQuery and jQuery UI CDN to 'jquery'. (tried it also with 'none', no luck).

Any other suggestions? I installed it on another site I have, not hosted through GoDaddy, and Lightbox2 worked perfectly.

This is for the lightbox2 module for drupal, not the standalone lightbox 2, your site is not a drupal one.
