Please, Help!

My only one problem:

Fatal error: Class theme_example: Cannot inherit from undefined class basetheme in /srv/www/htdocs/weblog/themes/example/example.theme on line 4

It appears when I try to go in /?q=admin/themes and I don't understand why it happens.

I need you help!!!

Get rid of example.theme

It sounds like you upgraded over an older version of Drupal (4.3 maybe?) but, rather than deleting any old files, you just left them in the directory structure. As per the Drupal installation instructions (INSTALL.txt), the third step in upgrading is:

3. Remove all the old Drupal files then unpack the new Drupal files into the directory that you run Drupal from.

From all of us who never read the instructions!
I had the same problem, but thanks to your note, after clearing out the old junk and putting back in the new files, it now works.
