Release notes

I just released a version 3 of the Picasa Module and have provided a test site at http://www.kevinbridges.org/picasa. This release allows multiple users to post their Picasa albums along with their friends or families albums. This module creates a new node type that can be accessed via views or other modules that use Drupal's standard node system. This is an extremely quick and efficient way to offer photo galleries to your users without the added expense of additional hosting. This is the last version for Drupal 5 .that will incorporate new features ... everything else is bug fixes. New features will be added in Drupal 6.

This version requires that each user authenticate with Google to display public photo albums. It includes the beginning of a simplified framework to perform Google Authentication functions without giving the website access to any account information. This is an exciting project limited only by my ability to translate the functionality Google has provided.

Feel free to sign up for an account and give the module a test drive before installing it. You can download the module from http://drupal.org/project/picasa
