for public sites this editor is very fast and productive

Wysiwyg supports NicEdit

Media Browser work with CKeditor and TinyMCE. I ask any chance support NicEdit ?

CKeditor and TinyMCE - is a monster for traffic

TinyMCE - with compressed - 300K and many css styles and js that don't aggregated by Drupal.
CKeditor - 1Mb +

NicEdit is extremely lightweight - 35K if don't compressed and only 18 K in compressed - 10x+ lightweight

Media integrated with the WYSIWYG module to abstract compatibility with other WYSIWYG editors.

Media doesn't include any code specific to CKEditor or TinyMCE. As long as NiceEdit works properly with the WYSIWYG module it should already support Media.
