Issue Summary
I got following error and failed to get any exchange rate information.
* warning: file_get_contents(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /home/kseauk.org/public_html/sig-p/modules/currency/currency_api/currency_api.module on line 126.
* warning: file_get_contents(http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?e=.csv&f=sl1d1t1&s=GBPKRW=X): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /home/kseauk.org/public_html/sig-p/modules/currency/currency_api/currency_api.module on line 126.
currency exchange error: currency: cannot contact Yahoo Finance host

This is a problem with your hosting server.
They do not allow PHP to open socket connections to remote hosts.
So, it is not a module problem.

any suggestion how to solve this if the machine its hosted at home ?

It depends on the Linux distro (or Windows?) that you are using.
Check this page http://www.php.net/file_get_contents and that page http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.filesystem.php#ini.allow-url-fopen

Hi,
This is not a server problem now server update is going on after that it will work without any problem.This depending upon some software's like java, Linux... Thanks for sharing. Cheers..........
