Any status on allowing easy copy/past link for users and remote thumbnailing?

Any staus on allowing an easy copy/past block for videos so user can post the vid in thier own blogs ( like youtube, gogole, etc)

Also I havent tested it but is there any way to generate auto thumbnails ( usuable in teaser) for .flv files hosted on another server ( my vids play by absolute url). Generating manual thumbnails is a real pain.
