Is it possible to add this module to CiviCRM event and contribution pages? If not, it would be a very useful feature addition.

+1 for this idea.

I use civiCRM and the events are great for registering participants, tracking attendance and engagement, etc. but there's no metadata shared with sites like Facebook when you post your event link, which sucks. I can work around it, but it would be hella much easier to have an integration with the metatag module.
