I want to "wash out" an image (reduce color range). I have tried several different things and it did not happen. How can I do this?

tescometro commentedDoes lightnessNot tried it myself, but maybe you could do it with a semitransparent white .png watermark using the overlay-watermark imagecache action. The action can add the trasparency for you (i.e just use a white.png) but this is slower (it tells you about this).
Hope that helps, and/or gives the effect you are looking for...

nancydruNo, Brightness didn't do it; it just washes out contrast (okay on B&W, but not color).
The semitransparent watermark works, but it forces dimensions that don't match the original image. Sigh.

fietserwinD6 EOL. This module's D6 issues already haven't received any attention for over a year. Closing them all unconditionally now.
