jquery include breaks gmap

Issue Summary

Hi I'm trying to use jquery in other parts of my site where gmap is on specific pages. Any page that I have a gmap on I can't use jquery even though it should be included from the beginning of the process. If i try to include jquery then my scripts work but gmap goes blank. Not sure why this is happening, but unless I can use jquery and gmap on the same page I fear this isn't going to end up in a good place.

Any help most appreciated.
