Fedex shipping module

None in progress as far as I know. It's been floated a few times. The UC FedEx module can just be ported to Commerce Shipping 2.x for it to work.

Does this remain the most viable solution? We are developing a Commerce site but client wants a FedEx integration. How difficult is porting a UC module to a DC standard?

Without the FedEx module we shouldn't call it 'Commerce'. I hope we can get the FedEx option implemented soon. Thanks guys!

Any hope of reviving this? We can't honestly call DC ready for general use if it does not have this functionality. I am trying to convince a book publisher to move their entire site to Drupal, but this is a complete deal breaker (they currently heavily on the Fedex integration built into their defunct proprietary CMS).

It comes up every now and then, but I've yet to see code get published. You might search for sandboxes... or use UPS / USPS in the meantime. Not everyone uses FedEx, nor do most Drupal Commerce sites need shipping. ; )

For contributed module issues, we leave them postponed until code gets posted, but it doesn't mean we don't want the code up asap. I'm going to move it back and hope we see a module soon.

I wrote a custom shipping plugin that utilized fedex's webservices to make simple shipping quotes and what not. I now understand why a module for it hasn't been created. FedEx's webservices are huge and confusing, and getting proper access to them is also confusing ( took me a few phonecalls ).

A fedex shipping module for drupal commerce that would just do rate quotes and label printing would be very cumbersome to maintain, it would have to be sponsored by FedEx I think.

Why can't we implement the logic and code from Ubercart into eCommerce? the FedEx module is working excellent with Ubercart.
