It is mentioned on the home page that this module will be available for Drupal Commerce. is there any progress on that yet?

jnettikI'm also interested in any progress that's been made on this module.
tr commentedI am slowly working on it in a sandbox, so the progress won't be very evident. Doing this properly requires me to abstract out the FedEx-specific code (building the SOAP query and processing the result) from any Ubercart or Drupal Commerce specific information such as how the shipping address is stored. In the end this will make the module much more robust and general, and allow it to be used by any commerce application, or indeed any application at all. Imagine being able to generate FedEx shipping labels from a webform, or to run FedEx address validation on a user profile upon account creation.
I'm doing this in my spare time, so as I said it's going slowly. If you would like to sponsor the project I could devote much more time to getting this done.

hardac82 commentedTR: Regarding sponsorship: Can we talk about you putting together an estimate to port to Drupal Commerce for Drupal 7? I'm not familiar enough with Drupal.org to private message you.

tr commentedTo contact anyone on drupal.org, click on their username. That will take you to their profile page. Then select the green "Contact" tab at the top.
For me, the direct link is http://drupal.org/user/202830/contact

techpassion commentedHello,
I'm just wondering whether there has been any progress on this.
Any guidelines on porting to Drupal Commerce?
We've kind of made a last minute switch from Ubercart and Drupal Commerce. What do you think is the best bet if I were to get it done in say... 3 days? lol :P
Any kind of help, half done code, guidelines, or referral to folks who can get it done for a small fee will be very much appreciated.
PS: Sorry I'm new to the Drupal forums.

Octomated commentedWhat can I do to help with this project? I would love to get deeper in to drupal and I think this would be a great opportunity. On the ubercart fedex page (http://drupal.org/project/uc_fedex) they state:
"Support for Drupal Commerce will be added when DC defines the infrastructure necessary to interface shipping quote modules like this."
How can I help DC to define the infrastructure necessary to interface shipping quote modules?
Regards,
John

andyg5000We have a sandbox module that currently works to calculate FedEx shipping quotes. It's not even ready for a dev release yet, but it does work. We hope to have a dev release in the next few weeks. http://drupal.org/sandbox/fakingfantastic/1456288
