Guys,

i think that the module should organize all questions (within categories) in a alphabetcal order. its quite weird see it on creation order.

Curious request. I would hate that. I generally want my questions arranged in the order I created them. Because of the DESC sort, I have to either enter them backwards or fiddle with the creatin date. But alphabetical makes no sense to me on any of my sites.

I agree that ordering alphabetically wouldn't suit most people. However, the next release will include a method ordering of FAQ nodes.

Nancy,

well, i can only see crhono order when FAQ is treated as normal posts: are often updated and users somehow know the order and use to go to FAQs. otherwise, FAQ is to organize a self-help information.

well, my clients, when goto a FAQ, are lost. They problably never when to FAQ before so they dont know how to start to look for answers. Alphabetical order is the most obvious way to search, imo.

best regards,

massa

I categorize mine to get people into the right area, then I try to organize them in something like the importance that they would be asking. Besides most of mine start with "Why" or "what" so the order could easily end up confusing.

But if that works for you, apparently you will get it.

Setting status back to 'by design' as we're not changing the order to be alphabetical. The next release will allow you to impose whatever order you so wish. In the meantime, please use the 'weight' module for ordering of nodes.
