It would be great to be able to clone a node type by giving a new bundle machine name on import. You can of course search and replace the machine name in the array but is not very user friendly.

That's true, this would call for some UI changes of course, especially when importing multiple bundles.

I tried to clone content type and the fields list was empty, so it's not as easy as just replacing, because it could create chaos if there is something else with the same string.

I really like the easy way of just copy&paste and it would be great to add not only complete bundle export/import/clone, but also just a bundle of fields so it can be added to another entity easily.

That would make it a killer module!

As this is done in the bundle copy 7.x-1.1 version So please update your module and for more info see here

I added a patch there so please test it and provide reviews.Its currently cloning one content type at one time.
