Please do not abandon rules 6.x
It is a major key player module for drupal 6.

It will take more than two years for drupal 7 to replace customized d6 solutions these days.

Please keep back-porting all the nice features back to rules 6.x baseline.

6.x-1.x is not abandoned and I encourage everyone that wants to work on backports. However, fago and I do not have the time nor the need for new Drupal 6.x features. Patches welcome!
