We just launched a re-design of a political website supporting the Barack Obama campaign: http://www.republicansforobama.org/

The theme is a modification of the garland / minnelli theme (which is a fantastic theme to start from) and the site is running on 5.1 with OG hopefully handling the heavy load of new users broken out by state :)

Please let me know what you think! Suggestions / Comments are certainly welcome - both political and Drupal.

Thanks - they're hosting it on yahoo small business. Which honestly is pretty good - except they aren't taking clean URLs...unfortunately.

Very sharp site... I'm registered Republican and have been considering Obama for a while through exposure in Time magazine. (pretty much the only media influence on my life. ; ) I can't say I'll vote for him, but I like the site and your use of Drupal. I added my 2 cents to a blog post for ya.

And honestly, I just browsed the site for about 20 minutes and never once noticed that Clean URLs weren't on. It is good to turn them on, but it's not the deathblow of a fine website. = P
