For such purposes, you may want to try the embedded media field - http://drupal.org/project/emfield - which does just that (allows you to attach one or more videos to a node). While the video module is a more robust and complete approach, the embedded media field works well if all you want is to attach videos to a content or create nodes with one or more external videos (youtube, google video and many other sites not supported by the video module). I actually use both modules...

there are however some patches that could be used for this ... for example the video filter patch
