I have taken a look at the source of my site and with my limited knowledge my META TAGS etc. look a mess.

1. Where in DRupal do I set the TAGS up to show correct Site Title and key TAGS for search engines ?

2. Is there a recommended SEO module for use with 7.9

3. Any other advice to clean up and configure my META TAGS ?

You can install the Meta Tags module, and all your keywords and description needs are taken care of.

http://drupal.org/project/metatag

With this, you can configure site-wide keywords, node specific keywords, etc. Install and play around with it !!

Meta tags Module is good but to ensure full on-Page optimisation I would consider going the full distance and do it properly with:http://drupal.org/project/seo_checklist
