Longitude and Latitude import

This module seems very useful. I need some guidance. I have a database of latitudes and longitudes available. Would it be possible to import this data using the location module and node import module? Can I then let users search and choose country >> location >> latitude and longitude and then save the data to a CCK field? Thanks.
