I recently installed Drupal 7.7 it went great.... initially everything worked fine, then I got a problem with not being able to enable or disable modules. When I click the tick box to enable or disable then Save Config the module stays in its original state.
It was annoying and I wanted to add more modules, so I ditched 3 weeks work and did a new install of 7.9 and new I have the same problem from the offset.
Help.

7.9, 7.10 - I didn't notice when it happened... Possibly after installing specific plugin?

I've modified mod rewrite rules (to achieve slash at the end of every drupals url) - it was working good - except for module form....

workaround - try installing drush
