Way to mass delete IN CHECKOUT status orders? These are generally abandoned orders.

Does this have to be done manually through the database or is there a way to have the system purge XXX number of orders with the IN CHECKOUT status? In my system 90% of these are abandoned anonymous checkouts and I have over 20 pages of IN CHECKOUT status orders.

Very tedious to have to manually delete them 1 by 1? :)
