Hi,

I would like to see two narrow regions at the bottom of "Sidebar Second". So, as final result, you would see The contents on the left, and on the right SIdebar Second would start, and then right underneath that (and still next to the contents) you'd see the two narrow regions continuing.

How do you do this with Omega? I added a region (my changing the .info file), made it narrow, but I can't find a spot to place it so that it ends up where I want it to.

Thanks :D

Merc.

Hi,

I did it! But, I have two (pretty big) "buts"... :D

Basically, I simply added two regions, sidebar_left and sidebar_right, as regions in the "contents" section.

1)
In order to do that, I had to set "none" as the primary region of the contents section, otherwise I would get this:

"You have specified the Content region as the primary region for the Content zone but the summed region width is greater than the number of available columns for that zone."

What is a "primary" region of a zone? Why this error message?

2) Sidebar_left and sidebar_right are placed in the right spot, as long as the contents is longer than Sidebar Second. Otherwise, they get wrapped to the bottom of "contents" (which is fair enough). What I *actually* wanted, was to have it so that they would always be placed underneath sidebar Second

I think I am doing everything wrong... help will be _immensely_ appreciated!

Hi,

Just a little note... I can set sidebar_left so that is has a prefix of 8 columns. But, that only helps pages for which "contens" is very short. In all other cases, sidebar_left start rendering *underneath* the content (which is fair enough, since it's just so large it gets 'wrapped')

OK, I am going to leave it to the experts who actually know what they are doing...

Thank you!

Merc.

Hi,

Well, I thought I could do this by creating a new zone (well, at least I learned how to do that) and then making two "smaller" zones: one just for the contents, and one for the sidebar second, sidebar_left and sidebar_right. After all that, I discovered that zones need to be the whole width of the theme... so no.

Bye,

Merc.
