Allowing HTML tags (or markdown) in node titles (and stripping them from the page's <title>

Hi,

What's the right, Omega-compliant way of allowing HTML to the node tiles?
Ideally, I would like to strip the tags for the page title itself (see: strip, not escape) and allow tags in the title itself.

Even better, I would _love_ to allow Markdown to be used in the title.

Any hints?
