A way to send reason of denial

I've got a fairly good system set up using Apply for role, and Apply for role - Webform. The only major thing I can't figure a way around is, how to include a reason for the denial of a request. I'd like a way so when the deny link is clicked, there's a text box to include the reason. Now I'm using a action/trigger to send an automated email to the requester, but it can't include a reason either, just a message saying they were denied, and contact me for more info. If I'm missing something, please let me know.
