i have installed FBConnect and when i attempt to login with my FB login OR create a new accoutn with my FB login I get a WPOD,

the following apache error was logged,
PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function getLoginUrl() on a non-object in C:\\xampp\\htdocs\\drupal\\new\\sites\\all\\modules\\fbconnect\\fbconnect.pages.inc on line 231,

this is an urgent request for help to get a site up and running ASAP.
i hope someone can help!

looking into the configuration settigs for FBConnect.. hmm, i don't have to buy any Facebook SDK or anything for this to run, do I?

issue still open. created necessary facebook keys and entreed them into the proper admin panel.

still getting thesame error at line 231.

issue unresolved, still need help asap.

bugh! i need to know how to install or download the facebook-sdk for windows.

OS winXP here. have apache installed just fine, need the facebook sdk now. dont know anything about GITHUB so if you suggest that please detail how i get it from there.

Having this issue as well. I'm developing off of xampp/Windows, so maybe this is the reason why this is happening?

Error is:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getLoginUrl() on a non-object in C:\xampp\htdocs\xxx\sites\all\modules\fbconnect\fbconnect.pages.inc on line 231

I've been through all suggestions in this post by FR6: http://drupal.org/node/1318296#comment-5313010, but still not fixed. Suggestions?
