Hi folks --

A strange problem. I have a single node (promoted to the front page of my 5.1 installation) that needs to be visible to anon visitors, and has all the necessary permissions: all node content on my site is freely visible to all roles. But all of a sudden, anons can't see it.

All other nodes seem to be behaving themselves. (So typical, that the one I have to have visitors see is the one that goes around the bend.) I can't think what might have brought this on: the only thing I've done over the past few days is bar an IP associated with the "nareman" comment spambot. I've unbarred it and reversed all associated changes, but the node still won't allow access to anyone but the logged-in.

Anyone have any ideas about how to fix this? I have phpMyAdmin and can get at the tables that way if needed.

Thanks!

Best -- Diane

Hi Brian!

No, the problem turned out to be a corrupted node table. (Tried creating a new node and got the same access-forbidden problem.) So fixed the table using the instructions here --

All better now.

Thanks!
