We are currently working on www.renmenbi.com The site uses drupal and we customized and build so many modules. So its pure drupal and everything is dynamic. Drupal really gives flexibility when building complex sites.

I don't think the viewscarousel module is available. I don't see a release or a development version on the page, which is really unfortunate. I was pretty excited when I saw that link.

it's in the cvs and needs more work. i do not recommend using this version below just yet, unless of course you know exactly what you are doing.

Are you using the viewscarousel module? For some reason my carousel gets cutoff when I'm using internet explorer but looks perfect when I'm using Firefox. This makes me think that there's something going on with the css, but I can't seem to find the problem. Do you have the same issue? I would post this on the module's issue page but it doesn't seem like it's being actively developed anymore.

btw,
those 300 x 800 ads seem a little distracting, there isn't enough describing where the ad will take you.
It might also be good to have a small block or something explaining what renmenbi is about (for anon users perhaps?)
other than that, renmenbi is looking good :)

Actually I am trying to build a similar site, but don't really know how, I am a beginner you know. I think I can take care about the simpler stuffs, now even themes maybe, but don't know how to manage such sites.
Are you using two themes?, how to?, how to make two pages different.
Also how to make new updates work, I mean make the site dynamic as you said.
Since I am building a very similar site(not abt china of course), it would be a great help if you could write how you did it, modules u used or some tricks if you can.
I am very new to drupal, actually it has only been few weeks, learnt some things from the video tutorials, but couldn't really know the site management things I guess.
