installed Beta 5 on Aegir BOA Lemp self-hosted and noticed the Views 3 RC3 security update

want to make a bunch of screenshots for documentation I am preparing for a community college course based on Open Outreach and noticed the big red warning

so, Drushed the Views 3 RC3 security update and got a white screen of death, error 500

will look into this further, I have a class depending on it ;>

Open Outreach uses the dev version of Views as that is still the only way to ensure Calendar is working smoothly. Unless there is only a dev version of a particular module, where dev is used, it has been consciously chosen and no other combination is necessarily going to work, so when you're upgrading ensure you upgrade to the newest dev.

ok, thanks for the info

for the pursposes of capturing screenshots have managed to update with drush and avoid 500 error (which was permissions related)

will test calender and perhaps re-install as is after screenshots complete

k, looks like it was a files permission issue.
