Hi, I have a trouble, that folder "thumbs" and its files are not created, if there is 777 permission for mother-folder.
If I set 777 to folder, then it is everything ok (and only edit and save the article is must)

first: thanks using himues gallery.

Sory for the late answer. I've very few time at the moment.
The problem you describe is not a problem with himuesgallery but with your webserver eg. with your php-configuration.

I can't describe all this things here but please search and read about php-fastcgi, user for php/apache/webserver, umask...

The only thing i can think about is to make a configuration option to set the permission of the thumb folder. But it is'nt a good idea to set it to 777 in any circumstances.

I'll see, what i can do.
