Hi,

I have multiple categories and was just wondering how I can make my FAQ page show with all categories expaned rather than closed as default?

I still want the questions within the categories to be closed.

Any ideas folks? :)

First visit the '/admin/config/content/faq/categories' configuration page. Make sure in the Categories Layout options that the following is selected.

FAQ Categories Inline Settings

Your end results should look like the following to images below.

Categories Expanded, Questions Closed.

FAQ Categories Expanded Questions Closed

Categories Expanded, Questions Expanded

FAQ Categories Expanded Questions Expanded

Hope this answers your question.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I would have thought the same, but mine stays collapsed.....

Any other ideas?

Well #1 difference is I'm using 7.x-1.0-dev not RC1. However, this could be a potential bug in the RC1. I haven't had time to test this. Just curious You are going to the '/faq-page' correct? Or are you using a the faq_page() function to output this somewhere else besides the default path?

No, I am using faq-page.

Strange one - I will wait for the next release and see whether the issue has gone away.

Thanks.

I believe I know the offending code for this issue. I will double check it and if I find the issue I will post it back to you.

Many thanks :)

I'm not having an issue on the rc1 either. So what I'm wondering is if the questions are configured properly. Can you post Screen shots of your 'admin/config/content/faq/questions' and 'admin/config/content/faq/categories' pages so I can take a look at what you have?

I've duplicated your settings in my sandbox on the D7 dev version and have been unable to reproduce the problem you report. I wonder if this issue is caused by other javascript on the page, or even a cache issue? If the site is publicly accessible I can take a quick look to see if I can figure it out (my contact form is enabled if you wish to post the url privately).

Does this only happen in particular browsers perhaps?
