Problem with IE + Taxonomy DHTML + DHTML Menus

Hi ---

I really like this theme, it's very easy to change the banner and everything. I was trying to use the "taxonomy DHTML" and "DHTML menus" but few graphic elements are floating around, specially in "li" elements. The same combination works perfect in garland, so it leads me to think that is the foliage theme problem - I hope I'm wrong.

List of things I detect:
- the LI items in the menu are far apart, they have a lot of space between them
- the graphic elements in LI are overlaping the text
