GujjuWeb.com is a project to unite all Gujaratis around the globe, to share their views, opinions, get information about their own land – Gujarat and help to connect with fellow Gujarati no matter which part of the world they are in.

Some facts about Gujarati Community:

- Gujaratis are entrepreneurs by nature. 32% of Indian Stock Market Wealth lies with Gujaratis
- Average income of a Gujarati family in North America is more than double than that of Average American family.
- Gujarat is the land where leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel were born.
- There are 50 million Gujaratis worldwide with immense wealth, talent and foresight but there was a huge gap as the community was not united worldwide.

It is one of the strangest stories of immigration: rooted to their land, their soil and their animals, they nevertheless boarded ships and left for unknown destinations. Yet for all their struggles and prosperity in far-off lands, it was if the Gujaratis had never left their village, their town or their country, for they transported all that they held dear — their way of life, their extended families, their cuisine and their culture into the New World. You call it having your dhokla — and eating it too!

The Gujaratis comprise a mere 5 percent of the population of India, yet are a force to be reckoned with in the Indian Diaspora, from Africa to the United Kingdom to Canada to the United States. Without a doubt, the Gujaratis constitute the largest immigrant group from India.

GujjuWeb.com has forums, discussion groups, communities – location-wise, information sharing, polls, and bold news. Gujjuweb is also sponsoring a new political party in India whereby young, educated entrepreneurs can come forward and change the roadmap of politics in Gujarat. It is a known fact that India despite its recent growth can do lot more if more educated people can join politics and get rid of corruption and red tape. There is lot more to do.

Gujjuweb.com is trying to bring a solution to these problems by creating a global coalition of Gujarati community. No other platform comes to mind other than Drupal CMS which is best geared to build massive communities.

Gujjuweb has been developed using Drupal CMS. Development has been done by BPO Canada Global Services Corporation - a Drupal CMS Services company.
