Hello,

I had WebFM working and uploaded files into directories successfully. However, now when I try to get into a file folder by clicking on it, as usual, the folder disappears on me. Looking in the file directory (terminal) I would find it in a different folder. Has somebody encountered this problem before? How can I go about fixing it?

I've never encountered or heard of anyone encountering this before. Since you say that it 'was' working, can you remember if you added a module or made some signifigant change to your install that might have affected webfm? It has come to my attention that webfm doesn't always coexist well with other contrib modules. Also it should be noted that webfm works best with Firefox. If you are using IE there probably are drag and drop issues.

I don't recall installing a new module. The only module changes that was made was by disabling calc-lite. I've been doing all site building in Firefox. I also moved the menu up to be viewed under primary links such that authorized users can access it as well. (permission have been granted)

Some other minor glitches I noticed is that when I was trying to make a new directory, it doesn't allow me to name the directory and the new folder is called "New_Folder". To get around that, I just made the directories I needed in my parent folder and changed the group to 'daemon' which seemed to do the trick, at least temporarily. I also don't know how to remove things because I thought if I just started over maybe things will run more smoothly after the rebuild. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was hoping that the problem would magically disappear after going to bed, as these things do happen, but no, still having the same issues.

Is the right mouse button menuing not working? If configuration or usage are not clear I invite you to check out the demo site at http://vera-ikona.com. It sounds like you are experiencing permission problems if you are having to manually rename/create folders.

The problem has been fixed, we suspect it is an incompatible with the Chameleon theme.
