Even though I've configured Zemanta settings to work with a few custom content types, it only works with Drupal core content types. I've checked to make sure all the standard tags are present for both, but cannot get normal function with custom content types. Is this feature still being developed with D7?

Are there additional configuration steps with custom content types?

In my case, Zemanta works on some content types but not others, regardless of whether they are core content types or not. I will keep you posted on why it is not enabled on some content types and not others, regardless of the configuration options.

any solution to this issue? considering opencalais as an alternative for entity extraction, but i REALLY like the add-on utility with zemanta, related articles, auto content discovery for embedded linking, etc

I have not fully tested it, but zemanta does work with both core content types, as well as custom content types. In some cases, one needs to save a node and edit the saved node in order for zemanta to work. It is not clear why zemanta works for in some cases upon node creation and in other cases, upon node editing (after the node has been saved).

yeah, saving a node and then going back to edit to use zemanta is a non-starter in terms of workflow and usability. seems odd that it's bugging out for some people.

Is there something specific about content types where Zemanta is not working?
I created different content types on a default Drupal 7.4 installation and Zemanta fired on all of them.
Any tips on how to reproduce the problem are much appreciated.
