Remove period after URL in notifications

The OG notifications in commons contain a period after the URL. Some of my users have webmail systems that extend the url to include the period resulting in a Page not Found error because the period is appended to the end of the URL.

I don't know if this comes from OG or a commons feature, but the easiest thing might be to just remove the period.

This applies to OG node creation, node update and comments.
