I've created a product (Ubercart 6.x-2.7) and added a Recurring Fee as a product feature using Paypal Website Payments Standard. When I test with the Paypal Sandbox, everything seems fine and the payment is handled as I would expect. But when I switch over to the Live Paypal site and make the same order, I receive an error from Paypal stating "The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again."

None of my users have been able to make a payment recurring payment which is becoming a big problem for my employer. I think I saw a reference to this problem earlier, but no one seems to be pursuing this issue.

Problem fixed for me by changing the email address to the right sandbox business email address. I bet it's the same problem for csbodine. I'm closing this issue. Feel free to reopen if still applicable.

Thanks for trying, toemaz, but my problem isn't fixed. I've been using Paypal Website Payment Standard for months without a problem. The problem occurred when I tried to add uc_recurring and used my existing payment handler. I've tried 2 different Paypal accounts, both of which are business accounts. There are no errors or logs generated other than "The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again."

Any guidance would still be appreciated.

Can you recheck the value of your variable uc_paypal_wps_email on admin/store/settings/payment/edit/methods :
> PayPal e-mail address
> The e-mail address you use for the PayPal account you want to receive payments.

That was what caused my problem.

I've tried 2 different email addresses in that field. Both work for regular purchases. Neither work for recurring purchases.

Is there any extra configuration or setup required on the Paypal side?

I get the same message, but only for recurring fee products.

Have you found a solution?

Thanks

Hello,

I'm having the same problem. I've checked the emails and they are both the same and work fine for regular products. This message gets thrown when trying to purchase a recurring subscription.

Please help!
