After upgrading Views from 6.x-2.12 to 6.x-2.14, the exposed filter of taxonomy terms (event types) on my Calendar page no longer populates unless the user is logged in and has “administer nodes” privilege.

I tried switching themes to Garland, but same problem.

On a test site, I disabled modules and found that disabling Image Gallery Access removes the problem. This module is used on the site for private image galleries so this is not a solution. I am using the latest version of IGA 6.x-1.0. The image galleries use Views and taxonomy terms, and no problems there after upgrading Views. The taxonomy vocabulary used by the image galleries is separate from the vocabulary used by the Calendar events.

I have upgraded Views to 6.x-2.16 but the problem remains. I did not have this problem with any prior version of Views.

This problem is now fixed by applying the patch provided here: http://drupal.org/node/1040744 .

Is the issue considered closed when a patch to the current release is needed? The patch modifies views_handler_filter_term_node_tid.inc (Views->Modules->Taxonomy) .
