We're experiencing an issue with our apc module, which is to do with the server configuration rather than anything in cacherouter etc., but hope there are some Linux/APC gurus out there.
I've set the apc.shm_size value at various levels, up to 128Mb, (although currently it is set just as '4096', which is what our server provider set it as) which is what shows in the 'runtime settings' of apc.php, but under 'General Cache information' it says: 1 Segment(s) with 30.0 MBytes (mmap memory, pthread mutex locking)... which is what apc seems to be working from. We're getting wildly varied hit/miss rates and I can't work out where this 30mb override is coming from; any ideas?
Many thanks in advance,
Paul Vincent
