I've kind of always experienced this with Admin module from 6.x on, but I'm currently using 7.x-2.x-dev and the need to demo this for a client inspired me to post an issue and see if others have experienced this and perhaps have a solution.
Say I have 5 menus items with children under "Administration". I can expand a few of them just fine, press the "-" button to go up a level, and then suddenly the next "+" I click does nothing. Previous menu items expand and contract just fine. A page refresh gets the problematic expander working again. There are no errors in console. This is in Chrome 15 and Firefox 5. Overlay is turned on. Admin theme is Rubik.
Does anyone else experience this?

charlie-s commentedI checked those out before posting this, but I've been encountering this on different Drupal installs regardless of the overlay module, and they also work most of the time which makes 873068 inapplicable.

sickness29 commentedD7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
If the issue remains relevant for D10+ versions, merge requests with proposed solutions for a new module version (D10+) are welcome in a new follow-up issue.
Thanks!
