Hello All,
Ok, totally confused about this one!
Google says we have 5 people visiting on our site.
However The Drupal traffic counter says we have 600!! people visiting our site!?
Seems like alot of duplication is happening & Can't figure out how to stop it!
Help!!
Thank you & Cheers :D

Drupal traffic counter -- there's nothing called "traffic counter" in Drupal but statistics module :)
Google Analytics shows the number of ga.js code executions within a date range
If anyone in the site has opted out for Analytics tracking (because of an admin role or per-user settings like drupal.org), they won't be calculated in GA, but Drupal.
statistics module counts almost every hit. that's why it's impressive. GA shows number of hits for a range of 30 days by default.

> that's why it's impressive

Maybe it was a second language error, but why is counting everything and anything (Eg. bots, spiders, and admin working on the site) as a hit 'impressive'? I'd much rather know that there were 6 genuine unique visitors to my site than 600 bogus ones.
