I pulled all the files from 7.10 and pushed them inside one of my drupal instances. But when I run update.php I dont see any database updates done, is that the right thing? Since my drupal instance is under GIT, I checked the changes and I could find only one .install file that is changed and that too is not a database change. In my status report, I see the status to be 7.10 but I just wanted to cross-check whether this is the right thing.

There wont necessarily be database updates in every new release.
