Hi,

Right now there is no way to catch the jQuery Color Picker onchange event using javascript
as the input element doesn't trigger it.

As my custom javascript code has to react on color changes I wrote a small patch.

It is not enough the event implementation suggested in #1061848: Allow other modules to be notified of change to color?
It implements the onchange event.
