jdanthinne commentedIt seems that the Cycle plugin has this option (http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/count.html), so that should be possible, yes…
Will have a look as soon as possible.
yuriy.sychenko commentedhow do counter?
yuriy.sychenko commentedPlease tell me how to place a counter
Comment #4
idflood commentedWell, this issue is clearly not critical, see http://drupal.org/node/45111
I will see if I can take some time today to create a first simple patch for this but I have urgent work to do before that.
yuriy.sychenko commentedSorry, that did this issue the critical, but still the answer :)
Thanks, looking forward.
P.S. I am sorry for my English
Comment #6
idflood commentedHere is a first patch, but there are still some work to do before committing this.
Things missing:
- An option to enable/disable the counter
- An option to define the separator which is hardcoded as " / ". The separator could also be a string like "of" for instance, so it should also be translatable.
- An option to define the position of the slide counter, before/after (like pager/controls)
- Manually test this functionality ( panels, views, multiple slideshows per page, ... )

yuriy.sychenko commentedThank you very much, everything works super :)

yuriy.sychenko commentedComment #9
yuriy.sychenko commentedPlease help again, the thing is that when I add more fields, slideshow counter ceases to show the current slide in the first images fields, shows only the last images field.
idflood commentedLooks like it's working fine with multiple slideshows if we switch from the "slideshow" variable to options.$cont.
Let me know if the following patch fix your issue.
yuriy.sychenko commentedThanks a lot, the new patch works like a charm. :)

Is possible still know how to hook the bottom prev / next control to the picture depending on the height of the examples in the screenshots below :
the highest picture
http://s2.ipicture.ru/uploads/20121019/FAWW57WL.jpg
image smaller in height
http://s2.ipicture.ru/uploads/20121019/WnvC3mXR.jpg
it happens when I upload multiple images at different heights.
Is it possible to connect the counter and control prev / next to the image.
idflood commentedGood, thanks for testing the patch. It still needs some work like described in #6 so putting it back to needs work.
On the other hand, could you create a new issue for the problem you describe in #11?
yuriy.sychenko commentedYes, of course already created material - http://drupal.org/node/1817462
