Lightbox Trigger Help

I'm creating an art gallery page. I've used views to feed on the basic gallery page nothing but the "art_image" field. Then I'm trying to use the lightbox trigger in views to display other fields (such as the title of the piece and notes about the piece) from my content type. In the "Caption" setting, I'm typing this:

When I select the trigger type of "art_image," it duplicates all the images so that I see 2 of every image, and the caption still doesn't display anyway.

I've searched all over the place for tutorials on how to use the trigger, and can't find anything. There's this page:

But it really isn't helping me. Can anyone give me some advice on this, or point me to a real tutorial?
