Hi all,

right now the outgoing mail subject seems to be hardcoded to [site-name] subject or 'subject'.

Ref. #706588: Alter message subjects to use format like "[site-name] original subject" to improve threading support

I would like to put other stuff there, possibly with tokens. Specifically, I am using organic groups in Open Atrium and I'd like to have subjects with [group name] subject.

Any ideas on how / if this can be achieved, and if not what the best path of action toward this would be?

Thanks,

Albert.

I have improved the module to support tokens.

I use atrium myself and I am in the same need as @alberto56. I really don't think this is best place to have this set up, but rather in the notifications module if a per content type settings is available (like on the 4.x version), but extending this module to support token is helpful and it won't add that much complexity and if this is accepted it might probably go to atrium sooner.

Anyway, attached is a patch that adds a "Custom" option to the subject alter setting as well as a subject field for the token replacement with the same default as the regular "On" option. All of this appear and works only if token module is actually enabled.

Sorry, Mail Comment 6.x-1.x is no longer supported. Please upgrade to 6.x-2.x and re-open if still an issue. Thanks!
