Doesnt work properly on a brand new installation. [#1363704]

I've installed Answers and then tried to add Best Answer module. The problem is that it doesnt work properly - i.e. when I mark an answer as 'best' it reloads, but nothing happens (it doesnt change the colour, so it can be selected again). Also, all the questions appear both under resolved and unresolved question list. This all happens under a brand new drupal 6 installation with all required modules enabled only. I've also tried it on my production website and it is the same + each answer appears twice rather than once. Can anyone tell me how to deal with this?

Hi, @vonderro,

Let me see if I can duplicate what you've experienced.

To do so, two questions:

1. It looks like you were using 6.x-2.0 for Best Answers. What version of Answers were you using?
2. Did you previously have an earlier version of answers installed? If so, which version?

Hi chipcleary, thanks for your reply. I am relly looking forward to deal with this issue, however nothing seems to work. I installed both Answers version 6.x-2.0 and Best Answer 6.x-2.0. I've tried different versions as well. It just doesn't seem to work...First I installed it on the website I was working on for a month with a lot of different modules, etc. and it didn't work - answers were duplicated, it wasn't possible to select best answer, etc. I then decided to install it on fresh drupal 6 with only mandatory modules enabled, as I thought there might be some clashes with other modules. Same thing here. I am running ot on localhost (xampp), but I guess this shouldn't be an issue. Please help, I need it badly:)

Hi vonderro, I'm sorry but I'm not sure how to help. What you tried makes good sense. However, I'm not able to duplicate the problem.

One thought is for you to give the simplest set of steps that leads to a problem and then I'll try to duplicate that. I'd suggest just starting with Answers itself and not trying to include Best Answer yet.
